Foreign Service Institute (FSI)
The mission of the Foreign Service Institute (FSI) is to deliver world-class diplomatic training and provide the career-long learning opportunities. FSI’s School of Language Studies (SLS) offers instruction in over 65 languages, with course length and curricula targeted at a range of language proficiency, from survival to advanced language skills, to enhance the foreign affairs community’s ability to work and live abroad effectively.
The Foreign Service Institute offers public domain language learning programs and training, that are very comprehensive and provide a full set of learning across a variety of foreign languages. Wealth of knowledge collected and collated over the years, and a huge benefit to any language learner.

LibriVox
Objective- To make all books in the public domain available, for free, in audio format on the internet. LibriVox volunteers record chapters of books in the public domain, and then we release the audio files back onto the net for free. All our audio is in the public domain, so you may use it for whatever purpose you wish.

WordProject
Wordproject is an open and royalty free webpage, which aims to make the Word of God - the Bible - available to as many people as possible, through a means that is simple, up-to-date and cheap to reproduce and use. Millions in today's world still do not have access to the Word of God in their own language.
This serves as an excellent reference for language learning, allowing the student to explore a number of different styles of writing and expression, proverbs and other hidden treasures inside a book which represents the Word of God.

Project Gutenberg
Project Gutenberg is a library of over 60,000 free eBooks. Choose among free epub and Kindle eBooks, download them or read them online. You will find the world's great literature here, with focus on older works for which U.S. copyright has expired. Thousands of volunteers digitized and diligently proofread the eBooks, for enjoyment and education.

Complete Guide to Languages of the World. A guide to alphabets and languages, with useful foreign phrases, tips on learning languages, language-related links, multilingual texts, and much more.
Very useful resource for anyone learning languages. Provides very short lists of practical language phrases, samples of text, and other references for each language, that are very helpful. Thank you to the folks at Omniglot for your continued efforts to provide a language encyclopedia-type of reference to everyone.

Duolingo - Learn Languages for Free
Duolingo is Apple's iPhone App of the Year! With our free mobile app or web and a few minutes a day, everyone can Duolingo. Learn 30+ languages online with bite-size lessons based on science.
Very good resource for those learners that appreciate structure when learning a language, and those who may need a bit of motivation when learning a language. DuoLingo tries to make sure that you stay on your mark, and keep going so that you actually invest the time required to learn a language. Easy to use and effective.
